Burlesque Magazine Cover

This was one of my favorite magazine covers to produce for the 2007 holiday issue of Where Y’at Magazine featuring burlesque dancers from the top three burlesque troupes in New Orleans. I hired Romney of Romney Photography for this shoot because he and I share the same creative vision and work really well together. It was very difficult to get the positioning and compositions just right with so many moving people in the shot. To make this cover come together, I used three separate photos and combined them together to get just the right combination of positioning. Unfortunately, this low resolution image is all that remains of this cover shoot. Not too long after the issue came out, my office was burglarized and all the original image files were lost forever.
